Hello Friends, who ever are looking at this PNR, it is surprising that we have ~445 SL seats & we are not clear if GNWL 24 will confirm or not? I see most friends pressed RAC (I count on their experience), I thought it should get confirmed. I am not able to extrapolate/analyse what is the reason & catch for this case? If you have some idea, do share. Thanks, Satyanarayan

Dear satyanarayanpanigrahi,
445 SL seats is the total number of seats in this particular quota in this particular train.
Not the number of unreserved/ vacant seats.
If it was the number of vacant seats, then this ticket would not have been WL in the first place.

before charting this will move up on the basis of tickets before this one in queue in this quota (GNWL in SL).
During charting, if there are vacant seats from other quotas, then too this can move up and could get into RAC or CNF depending on the situation.
