I will be heading to Bikaner from Chennai on 20-01-2016. I have made reservations in flight from Chennai to Jaipur via Delhi. My flight Jet Airways (9W 822) departs Chennai at 07.05 hours and arrives Delhi at 10.00 hours. The next flight to Jaipur, Jet Airways (9W 2623) departs Delhi at 01.55 PM and arrives Jaipur at 03.05 PM. I am having a reservation in Kota- Sriganganagar Express (22981) from Jaipur to Bikaner on 20-01-2016. Now I am bit concerned about fog affecting my travel plans. Can any members from Delhi/ North India comment on whether this is safe considering the fog and weather conditions over North India? Please advice soon (Jet Airways does not charge any cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of booking). Please respond quickly so that I can decide whether I should stick to my original plan or make for alternative arrangements?

Your flight departs at 07.05, hence it is a Chennai N/H aircraft, so no issues.
It may be delayed by 2 hrs , as during January due to poor visibility at DEL , most of the arrivals are given clearance after 10 AM & then there are huge congestion in sky and at tarmac/bay..
The problem is DEL-JAI flt..A block time of 70 mins means its an ATR operation & these aircrafts are given relatively low priority to the best of my knowledge..Moreover this aircraft must have been routed in the morning...

Thanks Mangla sir. I have rebooked the flight itinerary. Departing Chennai by Jet Airways at 05.40 AM and arrives Mumbai at 07.35 AM. The next flight departs at 08.25 AM and reaches Jaipur at 10.10 AM. I spoke about the less buffer time at Mumbai to the Jet Staff. They assured me that it is an official connection and hence no need to worry.
Sorry for adding my query on someone's blog. I have also booked indigo flight FRom Ngp to delhi for 12 dec which will depart at 0740 hrs. CommenTs please on foggy condition

Visit Pinkcity ( a famous market place ) in the evening before boarding the train.
