A highlight of the crossings my train faced when we entered and moved out of the city of Oranges- Nagpur; We were approaching Godhani, the penultimate station before Nagpur. when i spotted a surprise; ET WAG5A 23265 leading the Patna bound Sanghamitra express, rushed past my train, running more than 1:30hrs behind schedule. It was quite odd to spot a freight loco with a 23coach train. We had pulled into Nagpur at 10:16, just about a minute late. On pf1, the Yeshantpur Lucknow Superfast express was taking a breather led by customary link ET WAP4. It was hot on the heels of Sanghamitra express. On pf3, was the Howrah bound Azad Hind Express. In less than 5mins after our arrival, Azad Hind got the starter and departed towards Bilaspur.

As we crossed the Ajni freight yard, our accelerating Rajdhani saw the Samarsata express bound for Howrah, awaiting its entry into NGP led by an SRC WAP4. Closely chasing the Samarasta was our next crossing, the 5th crossing for my train in less than 40mins; the Howrah bound Mumbai CST Howrah mail, led by another SRC WAP4. My Rajdhani had picked up good speed by this time and we were rushing past Ajni station as the mail seemingly slowed down to a halt in the opposite direction.
