for premium trains with EOG it shouldn't be a problem. For a conventional SG rake that would be a different story as having high amount of torque at disposal is useless if you have less TE. as evident from the data given by Pratik Sir above TE is lesser for every speed w.r.t P7 for P5. add curves to equation and you have an even bigger problem.
But the worst issue is what you pointed out: P5 is maintained at only two sheds in India. this is almost like the situation with WCAM's where they were restricted to only a certain part of India owing to lack of training on maintenance in other sheds.
