ROLE PLAYED BY CHINA -WITH ITS NEIGHBOURS

Using its financial might, it is subtly spreading its military presence around the world, and is instilling fear in the minds of nations, not by training militants, but through complex combination of its stand taken on global problems, dubious/treacherous use of its mighty army esp at borders, its statements, and its attitude.
(4) It can do so because there is no democracy and associated politics of appeasement, the interests of nation is supreme and rights of people take a back seat. In our country rights/convenience of people (i.e. vote bank) is first and foremost and interests of nation is often nowhere in picture.
CHINA - PAK RELATIONSHIP
(1) Have you heard a country (Pak) voluntarily ceding thousands of square km. of land (of PoK) to another (China?), and Pak officially started recognizing a portion of Ladakh as part of China and China started supporting claim of Pak over Kashmir. Two friends sharing the booty looted from common enemy, an ideal moment of “Bhai Chara” (brotherhood) !! Bitter enemy’s bitter enemy, is a very close friend.
(2) One country exports terror and other helps it and gets benefitted by supplying arms. China is biggest supplier of arms/ ammunitions/ military technology to Pak.
(3) So China is using its money for its diplomacy and its national interests, and will be immensely benefited by having an alternative & safe route for its exports through the proposed rail line, bypassing the South China Sea. Presently majority of its ship movement are routed through South China sea, which is gradually becoming unsafe for Chinese export/import goods, due to growing hostility of China with neighbouring countries.
(4) New rly line and economic corridor is a safe investment by China in its national interest. Definitely not good for India!
