I am saying that Electrification in Dense route only should be major priority.
R8 now we have SVDK-Kanyakumari line fully electrified, and Southern Railways have less Rail Incidents as compared to Railways in Northern Areas like UP, Bihar etc...
The main factor can be said as
1.Maintenance. Southern Railways/SCR/SWR have better maintenance which nobody can neglect.
Climate ( South is in Temperate zone, below the equator so they don't have Visibility Factors, but sometime Heavy Rains destroys the game. We could see water filling on the tracks which happened once in Gudur-Nellore sections.)
Mostly 80-90% trains in Mainline Andhra and Tamil Nadu section runs with ELoco only.
3.Doubling is 100% necessary which will be done.
4.For me at this time being the dream of Modi that developing Golden Quadrilateral of Indian Railways is necessary.
Doubling and Electrification is necessary for this routes.
1.Mumbai-Delhi via Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Jaipur.
3.Mysore-Mumbai via SBC, Guntakal, Pune
4.Completion of Itarsi- Jabalpur- Allahabad.
5. Kolkata- Guwahati
6 Delhi-Guwahati
7. Ahmedabad- Bikaner (doubling and Electrification)
8. Ahmedabad- Okha (Doubling and Electrification)
9.Completion of all the Existing Projects
Make India Great... By 2020

Indian Railways is seeking railway electrification help with Piyush Goyal Ji and he will ensure that most of the routes get electrified. Out of 18452 villages 11,000 electrified, Electrification will no more be a problem because Government will make India Power Surplus by 2021

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
