Here are some things that I can randomly think of:
1. All the brags by Mr Prabhu, of what he did and how this year was, yet better than previous years. All positive data and show offs; even if it means of using fake NTES updates to show off 'good' punctuality data.
2. All kinds of assurance in 'words' of how his team is working on better facilities and amenities of passengers.
3.

Proposals on improvement of safety.
4. Separate committee for fare.

The budget will just be one line with allocation figures that's all.

From RM in 2017:
I want to see that he follows the completed projects by inaugurations and subsequent trains for that section. At the top there are many things to worry but surely the newly GCed and built lines he should see to that that the benefits pass onto people
...

of the country.
-
1. New Bengaluru-Hassan line: Atleast 1 ICE and 1 passenger between the two cities and 1 overnight train to Mangaluru. Not just some half-passenger or DEMU for this new line having spent thousands of crores.
-
2. Rayadurg-Kalyandurg line: A half inauguration. Needs to complete signalling and complete the line upto Pavagada and introduce a proper train from Ballari, than just extend the existing half-passenger in the name of inauguration. Another thousands of crores spent towards nothing.
-
3. Nandyala-Yerraguntla line: Another half inauguration. Needs to complete signalling and introduce few proper trains between Guntur and Tirupati, A single DEMU in the name of inauguration simply wont do. Another thousands of crores spent towards nothing.
-
4. Pollachi-Palani line: Everything is completed. God knows why still no trains. Just few special passengers. A proper train to Mangaluru from Madurai. And after Pollachi-Podanur GC, an ICE between Madurai and Coimbatore.
-
5. Kadapa-Rayachoti line: This line needs to be completed. Need to introduce atleast a DEMU.
-
6. Kotturu-Hosapete line: This line is completed, he needs to get his officials to talk to GoK and CRS and clear the high tension wire mess. Then start a train to Hosapete from Bengaluru.
-
7. Ginigera-Gangavathi line: This is completed, he needs to inaugurate and introduce a DEMU atleast.
-
8. Stop publicity stunt inaugurations like the electrified section of YNK-DMM. If GoK has not completed the ESS work, then why inaugurate???
-
9. Sengottai-Punalur line: How many more delays??? Atleast this year start a few passengers and an ICE from MDU to TVC.
-
10. Increase speed in doubled-electrified lines especially GTL-GR line, SBC-MYS. Why spend crores if train speeds remain same.....
-
11. Inaugurate and start train between Hubballi and Dandeli. Atleast a DEMU.
-
12. Bidar-Kalaburagi line: Work is nearing completion. Inaugurate and start a train to Bengaluru, this part of Karnataka needs one, especially with CR officials not starting the SUR-YPR train from GR even after the GR pitline was ready.
-
13. Listen to the people: When everyone wants the ICE between GR-HYB to start at 6 am, why start at 10 am. Listen to people not officials.
-
14. Bundelkhand region. A train from Khajuraho to the capital Bhopal or Indore. Thousands of crores spent for just a passenger train
-
15. Rayalseema region: Something for people of Rayalseema. It's their MLAs also who voted for the RM to go to RS. One daily train to Hyderabad thru Madanapalli-Kadiri route. Few GEN bogies for DMM tri-weekly.
-
The previous Govt. had it been there, would have surely introduced trains on new section; even if just to take political mileage.
The above mentioned projects didn't complete overnight when this govt. took over. They are in works for decades. So this govt. didn't complete them. They so happened to be in power when these lines finally finished.
-
STOP inaugurating half finished projects: Let the signalling and track switching works be over. With inauguration, officials just leave the project as it is with a DEMU or passenger plying. With no new trains, no pressure to complete the work. Corrupt, lazy officials are being encouraged thus to live in perpetual perfidy.

Nothing much...just a bit of bla bla about safety, security, unmanned crossings, track lay,bio toilets,LED lights,DFCs etc.which every RM till date has addressed in budget
Followed by 1-2HS and 1udayand tejas etc.
We in WB should expect little bit of investment in east west metro,dakhineswar-noapara ( as work going on full scale),goghat-bishnupur and maybe chord 3rd line...that's all for WB
Living aside the material in

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
