Just to provide a good departure time at night to the people of KIR the average speed of the train has been made below 30kmph. I think it would have been better to extend the train up to Kishanganj instead of Katihar. Kishanganj would have also got its first intercity connectivity with DBG and JYG in the form of JAYNAGAR - KISHANGANJ JANAKI EXPRESS. In the up direction the train would have reached KNE at 17.00 hrs. In the opposite direction, The train could have left KNE at 23.00 and arrive KIR at 00.30 and then take a halt of 20-30 mins for a LR and could have departed KIR at 00.55 and then it could have followed the present route and timetable. Also, the speed of the train would have atleast crossed 30kpmh. What do u all say????
