* Surrendering 11000 posts by an organisation with about 15lakhs sanctioned posts is not a big issue and it regularly happens in almost all govt organisations/PSUs.
* Normally unions make it a sensitive issue to put pressure on management & to increase their influence/control over the employees. There is no need for employees to worry as none of them are going to lose job.
