Hi guys I'm posting my travel review of this train. I travelled on this train on 26/11with my mom and the 6am departure meant a 4:30 departure from my home. The bus was late by 15 min and came only by 4:55 but still managed to reach Majestic by 5:20. we reached the station amidst slight drizzle and the characteristic grrr of the EOG brought us to pf 7. Our's was C4 3 & 4 and I occupied the window seat while my mom slept.The train left only by 6:15 and was only half full but at Cantt. the coach was full. We were given a bottle of rail neer and the DH paper and biscuits and chocolates, Soon after that the train sped and was doing some good speeds and the clean and new LHB coaches only enhanced that perception of speed which felt lke a bullet on fire....

After a breakfast of Pongal Vada and Jam Sandwich which was pretty good,I started reading the Rail Bandhu mag which is good and informative. The journey was pretty uneventful from then one and except for 2 15 min stops near AJJ and Vyasarpadi. Initially I did not bother checking the loco but near KPD I saw it was a WAP 4. I guessed it to be from ED/RPM but it turned out to be one from ET!! Big offlink. There was a drizzle when we reached MAS. Took a local train to Kodambakkam and my aunt joined us there and from there it was another local to Mount. An auto ride worth 100 bucks too the Rani Mahal mantapam.Here are a list of trains we crossed with lead loco
