i have question, how does the engine driver know at what speed to drive at a particular time, say when main through line is not available and train has to move through loop line. how is it communicated to train driver so as to adjust the speed?

Yes siva...as i told the two yellow lights for attention. Because there are chances after 2 yellow..another single yellow light...finally red will there.
But after 2 yellow lights, some time green also will be there. But its mostly used for attention.

Sir, this I observe at TVC outer... The two yellow signals are seen at Pettah Railway station and i had asked this concept to the station master at pettah and it was he who told me this..
