Sir, the reason of jerking is predominantly (70%) is the suspensions system. If the suspension system is Hydraulic and pneumatic then the jerks won’t be felt at all. But here I think the suspension system is made of helix spring and that is why some tomes the springing action leads to sudden jerk and make unpleasant feeling. The remaining 30% is for track design. IR had done a trial with dellner couplers and it is found to be satisfactory ,with less jerks. LTT SC duronto is the only rake fitted with these couplers. also IR is doing some trials with siemens bolsteless high speed bogies for main line trains. cureently running on one rake OF MRVC local |
