Good train it will be useful for ppl of Belagavi Hubli Dharwad and also for Gadag As easily they reach Hubli early morning and Catch Tirupati FP or Bijapur Pass spcl with some buffer time at UBL.

Was there any specific reason to make it tatkal special?....Railways could have run it as normal express train as well. It would have been good for passengers. But a very good opportunity for SWR to ensure good occupancy and thereby good revenues
From SBC to BGM 3AC diff of fares between this train and Rani Chennama is about Rs 300-Rs 350....though time taken is more or less same.

Yes it should have been normal express / Super Fast train but Tatkal special is profit for Railways as this train have good demand.. Hope in future they make it just normal SF train. Yes RC and this train price will be more due to SF +Tatkal Special..

Right, in this tatkal special, senior citizen concession cannot be availed, plus cancellation charges will be more, etc. Overall nowadays railways look to make profit, If service is good, then profit can be made, else not useful.
