more... train halting in MZN for an average of 6 odd passengers as per the reports. Deoband already has a Jan Shatabdi stop which is not getting much passenger from it.
Why people of major destination suffer efficiency loss for few odd people which have alternate trains to travel in and around same time.
If IR wants to run a Samajwadi Vande Bharat Express ( we don't mind) then it should also take care of its responsibility towards Pax of major demand pairs and provide them with an alternate faster options at the peak time..
and by the way . Why Khatauli , Ghaziabad , Sakauti Tanda , Muradnagar , Modinagar , Tapri , Laksar.. etc should not get the stop of this premium train ? The reason would be the same. !
Deoband has Darul Uloom.. but it is not a major crowd puller or pilgrimage point. and By the way .. my relatives live in Rankhandi right next to Deoband. i know the place very well..
IR should give the faster VB options at peak time .. make the other one passenger no one would mind..
They will surely do it in the future by converting all the intercity and Jan Shatabdi trains in VBs , if plan goes well !
