railfan23 144 blog postsTaking this train (# 22693) from Secunderabad-Nagpur tomorrow, i.e., 24th July. Any guess about estimates of likely delay in reaching Nagpur (scheduled arrival NGP @ 15:25) -- in view of current weather pattern (i.e., heavy rainfall, as discussed here: /blog/post/812117) in this sector and also news about route diversion.
In fact, we have another train to catch at Nagpur (Nagpur-INDB Express) which departs NGP at 19:00 Hrs. (i.e, there's approx. 3 1/2 hours gap between the two trains)! Would we make it? Going by the delays, looks like it's a 50-50 chance!

Already down line is opened as per /news/post/142235. It is expected to depart SBC on time.
But today heavy rains are still recorded in adilabad district and borders of maharastra and floods are still high Might be a chance of Slow running of train
Though anything can happen in the next 24 hrs or so, the only solace for passengers like us (travelling by the # SBC-SC-NZM 22693 tomorrow) with connecting trains to catch at NGP on 24th July, seems to be that as per the trainenquiry.com site (though this can change any minute), yesterday's SBC-NZM Rajdhani #12429 is projected to arrive at Nagpur on time today (though seems highly unlikely)! Shall have to track this #12429 movement over the next few hours until it reaches NGP!
well . ngp bpl by sbc raj takes 5 h 25 mins . 390 kms @ 72 kph.
