The railway connectivity between the two important Metro city, Chennai & Mumbai is continuously neglected in every railway budget. Though the trains connecting Mumbai with other two southern Metros (Bangalore & Hyderabad) are also running in the same route, there is no much development in this sector.
Around 50% of the railway route has ‘single’ line and < 25% is electrified. Due to this limitation, the running speed of the train in this route is less and the railways is unable to introduce additional trains in this route. The express / superfast trains are running with only an average speed of 50 -55 km/hr in this route.

I am planning to travel from Udaipur to Ahmedabad by Train no.19943 in Dec 2014. Train is mentioned in recent Railway guide (sept 2014). But could not found in irctc booking. Is the train is cancelled or running? What is the problem?

Now, it is found, 2A (II AC) coach is removed from the train suddenly. It is mentioned RT CLS suspended. what does it mean?

Recently, I booked a reservation ticket (SL class) from Thanjavur to Chennai in Uzhavan exp. with boarding at Kumbakonam (next station). But I boared at Thanjavur itself and travelled in the same train in SL class. I was objected by TTE and asked to pay fine for the journey from Thanjavur to Kumbakonam. I did't pay fine and argued that my ticket is valid from Thanjavur and I paid the cost.
Am I correct or not?

If I cannot claim my berth, then can I travel by standing in the journey. Even that is not allowed, What is the advantage of booking a ticket from one location and boarding at next location? The option itself can be removed by Railway
