Traveled by this train on Oct 20 from Lucknow to Raipur. It runs very well and reached virtually every one of its intermediate stops ahead of schedule, and the final destination (Raipur) on time. However, it bothered me that the train was slowed considerably in the last segment since a slower Express train was in front of it, otherwise it would have made the destination ahead of schedule as well.
A few days later, I went to receive my sister traveling by it, and the train was again well on time, except that it was delayed by 30 minutes... again due to following the same Express train which was running late. What is the point of "superfast" category for the Garibrath if

it doesn't have the priority? In fact, this train could have overtaken the slower (Sarnath) Express on both occasions without the latter having to stop anywhere (just as express/mail trains overtake running goods trains on triple-line sections between Bilaspur and Raipur.

Actually there is an RSA between August Kranti Rajdhani and Rajdhani Express trains between Mumbai and New Delhi. This is also evident in the train schedule displayed inside the coaches.

The Railways has worked out details to strengthen security measures under the Integrated Security Scheme (ISS) to deal with threat perceptions from terrorists and banned Naxal outfits across the country. It is seriously mulling an idea to make it mandatory for passengers to reach their respective stations at least an hour before departure of trains. This would facilitate railway security personnel to carry out security check of passengers on the pattern of airport security check. According to a Railway Board official, railways has introduced this system at the New Delhi station on a trial basis. "

Ridiculous idea, a waste of everybody's time. The naxal problem largely exists on the tracks than inside the trains to begin with.
