I am working in bangalore and My Family was travelling to Bangalore By 22692 Rajdhani Express. Ticket was from Nizamuddin to Bangalore and Boarding was from Jhansi on 12 may 2015 at 01:00 A.M. Journey PNR No.is 2631514597 and coach number was B7. In my family, my father, who is a senior citizen, my wife and my sister in-law with two kids of age 5 months and 6 years, were travelling. In same morning, Pantry people served only one bottle to every one in my family and in afternoon again my family members asked for bottle so they didn't reply properly and evening after Secunderabad, again my family members asked second water bottle from pantry guys and they refused to give...
more... the water bottle and in reply, they said that only one water bottle is allowed for the people of who are boarding from or after jhansi. and after some time 5 month kid started crying because of water and my family members didn't have a drop of water and they again requested to pantry guys to give the water bottle and again pantry guys refused to give the water bottle and after that my father was thinking to buy the bottlle from outside but because of limited stoppage of Rajdhani, he was not able to get the water bottle from station also. and one co-passenger gave his water bottle and after drinking water 5 month kid was fine. Even my father also said that he'll pay for extra bottle if needed and accroding to IRCTC, if passenger is travelling for more than 20 hours on Rajdhani, a second water bottle or Packaged Drinking water should be supplied to every passenger. and in morning when i went to Bangalore City Station to recieve them then only I got to know. I went to Pantry Car and talked to Manager and the response came as expected. no proper response.
I am very thankful to co-passenger, who gave his water bottle at that time.
