An woman (47) traveling alone in a 2AC LB of down Amritsar mail (13006), woke up with a start past midnight (2 AM) on Sunday to find a stranger sharing her berth and blanket. Seeing this she screamed loud enough for the TTE and the attendant to come running, but neither tried to stop the intruder who was vanished. the vestibules were open. But the train was running (approaching Patna). Although, the attendant was on the opposite SLB, he did not chase the man. The woman said that not a single guard was seen by her. At morning, the woman wanted the complaint- book, but was told that she would get it at HWH.

It is due to the inaction of the railway authories that such incidences happen in the railway coaches. It is really shocking to know that this happened in the 2AC compartment. The lady should have pulled the chain and let everyone in the train know what happened. Only then such issues will be taken seriously.

Sir,
Some unauthorized person coming in the 2AC compartment, and sleeping in a woman's berth and sharing her blanket is even more seriours. What is more serious is that neither the TC nor the Attendant tired to catch hold the person.
The woman had all the valid reason to pull the chain. In that way, she would have alerted other passengers...

I am trying to book a ticket from Nagpur To Thane of 2AC of Vidharbha Express for 30 October 2011.
After making the payment, I am getting this error message. What does this mean? I am not even selecting any special preference for seating. The date of journey is less than 90 days from the date of booking. Still I am getting this error message. Please help me with the error message. What does it mean?

I have tried booking again and again. Its been four times now and I am still getting the same error message.

No. My ticket is not booked. But my money got debited from my credit card.
I have tried 6 times and all the six times my money got debited.
Then I called IRCTC helpline. They told me that thas the Waiting list status was WL80/WL53, no further booking is allowed.

Dear Sir,
I called the IRCTC helpline and told them the issue.
I also told them the reference no of the transaction. The confirmed that my money is debited from my credit card.
In the email received from IRCTC, it is mentioned that the money will be credited back in my credit card account .
