any chances to get double track,I traveled once in CHALUKYA exp that is the last time traveled in train to Mumbai you will be bored in this route totaly .I prefer to travel by car or bus it is good

I was analyzing through the quota allocation for 3A class in 12270. I found that there are three 3-tier coaches and 2 AB type coaches (half of 2-tier and half 3-tier). So to conclude, this train has four 3-tier coaches.
hybrid LHB rakes means 3-tier coaches has a capacity of 72 berths which indicates that the total occupancy should be 72*4 = 288 berths. But When I tried working the split up the berths into various quota (using the data from www.indianrail.gov.in), I have found that 33 berths have not allotted...

Hi All,
My first ever video with some music mixed.. This was our return journey from Mangalore to our bases.. Myself was going to PGT, Anand Ji and Amjad were to TCR and hence alighted at CLT and proceeded to TCR via bus. Though it was shot in HD video i have no clue why this did not come in HD.. Train No 12686 was hauled by a ERS WDM3A which did its duty till SRR.. The train was ripping past through beautiful back waters and arabian sea.. Around 6.21 Minute of the video is our train passing through the famous Bekal fort where the " Tu Hi rey" song from the film Bombay was shot.. Also captured was Netravati river and...
