Forget 12 notebook. Lets apply some common sense. When I am talking of WAP5 or WAP7, I mean the motors specification not the supply of catenary.

High reach pantograph: world record set by Stone India
KOLKATA, India -- The new generation pantograph developed by Stone India for the Indian Railways allows an increase in the highest of the overhead wires (catenary height) from the standard 6 meters to 7.5 meters-setting the world record for the High Reach pantograph for highest catenary for electric locomotives.
Such a device is suitable for locomotives to be used for running double-stack containers as envisaged in the upcoming dedicated freight corridors being implemented by Indian Railways. (enlarge photo)
This
...
will also enable Indian Railways to introduce double-decker passenger trains in high density suburban passenger route. The pantographs have already been commissioned successfully after extensive test by Indian Railways.
Stone India's innovation makes Indian Railway achieve this unprecedented feat to become the only railway in the world to run a train under a 7.5 meter-high contact wire.
The new-design world record pantograph , developed completely in-house, has many other added features, such as twin catenary height of 6 & 7.5 meters, auto upward-force adjustment to improve effective current collection in adverse conditions, thereby enabling reduction in energy consumption and allowing trains to run at much higher speeds.
The new design overcomes the traditional challenge of balancing a high-reach pantograph in double-stack container trains moving at a high speed in adverse wind conditions, hitherto faced by all global suppliers of pantographs.
Stone India Ltd has not only successfully designed and developed the improved pantograph in a record time but did it completely indigenously using its own expertise and with its own R&D setup using cutting edge simulation tools. The patented new series named as "Omniversal Intelipanto" has been supplied when other multinational companies failed to do so before commencement of the trial by Indian Railway in East Coast Railways which was witnessed by Japanese technical delegation.
The success of this design will not only help saving foreign currency but will benefit Indian Railways by enabling locomotives to run on electricity instead of costly diesel. Additionally this opens up the possibility of Indian Railways even running double-decker passenger trains in high density passenger routes through further increase of catenary height.
The Company plans to adopt this design in all its pantograph and plans to export such world record pantographs to countries, which propose to use electric traction for running double-stack container trains as well as double-decker passenger trains.
Stone India Ltd, a Kolkata based company, which has been serving Indian Railways for more than 77 years has pioneered the introduction of several systems to Indian Railways, including pantographs, used by the electric locomotives and EMUs. So far all these introductions have been through technical collaborations with overseas companies.
This marks the beginning of Stone India's major self-initiative & achievement to arrive at breakthrough innovative solutions for customers, which are generally fraught with skepticism of unachievable goals

from recent posts it has been noticed that "hwh wap4" of eastern railway has been used consistently with hwh cstm duronto for its high speed(max speed potential 130km/hr as sources claimed)......... as compared to src(santragachi wap4----- max speed 110 km/hr).
[depicted in picture 1 uploaded by me power of 12262 hwh cstm drnt standing at pf 22 of howrah]
i think if ser allows wap4 with a speed potential 130km/hr to ply in its railway territory then why not wap7!!!!!!!! a fully sophisticated loco with a max speed of 130-140 km/hr with
...
a superb pick up/accelaration capacity as per the situation.......................
[depicted in picture 2 uploaded by me the cabin and loco pilots of wap 7 which hauls tvc nzm rajdhani from kota to hazrat nizamuddin]
ser should use wap7(the white demon and the most successful loco presently in india for aristocrat trains like rajdhani and duronto) only for the following three non stop trains:
12262/12261 hwh cstm duronto
12222/12221 hwh pune duronto
12245/12246 hwh ypr duronto

Hello Mr..... Look I would like to bring to your notice, your own leymanism , in this post. There are far more intelligent people on the board who select locos. Let me explain you the reason why the 'white demons' are not used in Howrah Cstm duronto express.
1) So called 'white denoms' are more known for their acceleration than there speeds.
2) The whole route of CSTM duronto is restricted to 110 except 134 km stretch of KGP-TATA (120). So we can cut out the speed reason here already.
3)
...
Duronto is a non-stop train (only few technical stops) so once accelerated to full speed it does not matter whether it is hauled by a WAP7 or a WAP4.

Dear Sir,
I am not "intelligent" nevertheless I have showed any "sign of intelligence". If you notice very carefully the full description of mine regarding the loco "WAP-7" you can easily notice that it is fully equipped with factual data and figures.... no hypothetical conclusion has been made anywhere.
Secondly there is hardly any word "Leymanism" which can be found in English Literature. Rather it will be "Comments like a Layman" what you intended to mean about my description.
...
Now if I am a layman then it can't be possible for me to give such a brief account with all factual details. Secondly, I don't know how much experience you have gained , but I have a gamut of experience(20 to 23 years approx) about travelling in super fast mail/express trains in various rail zones which also includes premium trains like Rajdhani,Duronto and Shatabdi.
So what I had written about p 7 is the "Compact view of myself regarding performance of P7 in various rail zones in past 10 to 12 years"...
Now come to the point of speed restriction in HWH CSTM route as per your view that SER has speed restriction in this route to 110 km/hr
If I am not wrong the CSTM duronto(12261/12262) is hauled by HWH WAP4 of HWH Shed(FROM HWH to IGP(IGATPURI)) and after that by WCAM 3 OF KYN SHED(fFrom IGP to CSTM).
This train maintains an average speed of "75 km/hr" from HWH to TATA
From TATA to BSP it maintains an average speed of "72km/hr"
From BSP to NGP it maintains an average speed of "69-76 km/hr"
From NGP to BSL it maintains an average speed of "80 km/hr"
From BSL to IGP it maintains an average speed of "80km/hr"
Now From IGP to CSTM "WCAM 3" takes the charge replacing HWH WAP4 and the train maintains an average speed of "52 km/hr"
As a whole from HWH to CSTM(1964 km) this train it maintains an average speed of "75 km/hr"
Now I like to give a brief account of speed restriction of 12951/Mumbai Central-New Delhi Rajdhani Express(A Train hauled by WAP-5/WAP-7 Predominantly) which maintains an average speed of 87-90 km/hr for the entire journey(1384 km)
Mention must be made here that previously WAP-5/WAP-7 is attached with the aforesaid train from Surat not from Mumbai but now from BCT WAP-5/WAP-7 gets the charge of this train replacing WCAM-3.
What I have noticed that most of the rail fans show "AN ANTAGONISTIC APPROACH" towards my views, I don't know why they are doing so if I am not wrong "This a forum for expressing the personal views of the rail fans not to criticize anybody"
Look, Criticism is very easy to make and no special qualification/training is required to criticize/condemn anyone and the SITE ADMIN IS REQUESTED TO KEEP A VIGILANCE on these negetive views deliberately made in reply to my post, so that the "OBJECTIVE OF THIS FORUM CAN BE RESTORED". Every person has some views which should be respected and if you don't like it you may oppose it in a"GENTLE WAY"........
What I mean to say
Advancement is the part & parcel of every infrastructure to sustain in this dynamic world, if we follow the theory of Charles Darwin "Survival of the fittest". Railways is not any exception to this universal truth.
It is a fact is SER has a large number of WAP4(70 in SRC shed and 3 in TATA shed) and doesn't have any WAP7 due to its inability to "3 phase loco maintenance and insufficient crew training"........ so SER Officials have to think about the implementation of WAP-7 by repairing it's problems which create hindrance of getting WAP-7 IN THIS ZONE.
If you look at the evaluation of electric loco in IR it will be
WAM-4/PREVIOUS LOCOS------> WAP-4(YEAR 1997)-------->WAP-5----->WAP-7
so WAP-4 too has some limitations otherwise WAP-5/WAP-7 can't be produced.
Moreover,SER has to think that a time will come when all it's old fashioned locos(WAM-4/WAP-4 etc) will be in "Not Usable Condition" and then I am sure that demand for a Speedy Loco(With High Acceleration Capacity) will be very high and to fullfill this demand SER has to rely only on"WAP-7(Or any higher version of this type)". Because the production of WAP-4 is decreasing slowly and production of WAP-7 is increasing(Though at a very low pace)

This theory of yours is more funnier than the previous. You are comparing HWH-NDLS route with HWH-CSTM route. Here I hope everybody can joudge how much you travel around in these routes or you may be sleeping throughout or some 'other' activities......
Suppose the distance of your crotch from your shoulder may be same as the distance of your crotch from your feet. But try touching it with your tows as easily as you can touch it with your fingers.
I hope you understand now
