Yes, it was nice. The Veg Continental option was indeed quite different I had till now. Some others in the Cabin asked for Indian Veg. That looked quite ordinary. We shared the food, even the taste was OK. Wanted to try the Non-Veg, but since everyone else were Vegetarians, I asked for Veg meal.
Stopped 5 kms before RaniGanj. Picked up speed, 130 for a few mins, slowed down before RaniGanj RaniGanj at 08:21, speed 77 Andal Junction at 08:25, speed 67. Overtook MEMU. Mankar at 08:45, overtook a WDM hauled passenger train.
B/F arrived. Asked for Non-Veg. Pretty much Std. fare. Omelet was a tad too salty. The Bread slices were toasted. Cornflakes..... Cheats. Supposed to one packet. Came poured in a bowl. Definitely less then 1 packet. Eating that for a month now. I can make out. But, other passengers, so cannot make a big fuss. Told the guy quietly.

Charm of AC First not there. Was expecting much better experience. Not recommended even for the experience, for the fare paid.
While coming from DHN side to BWN, there is big bridge being constructed. Looks like a Cable Stay bridge (similar to San Fransisco, Golden Gate Bridge). These bridges are expensive to build and maintain, as compared to a normal bridge and are made only where span between two support pillars is very large. Any idea why use this for a normal Road-Over-Rail bridge? Does the railway line below obstruct construction of regular pillars. Under such circumstances, there is a slight alignment change in the tracks to avoid such expensive constructions. Any ides?
