You said it. They have built most of the lines in straight way through flyovers which are standing in huge pillars. Some areas we can see the rail flyovers crossing up and down. Even though the entire down line is protected with huge fencing to avoid any kind of crossing. I never seen a single railway cross in China. InterCitys are running there 170 to 200 km/hr which can be done easily in India if our Govt follows the above system.
