Work on the doubling of Sontalai-Bagratawa section is going on at good pace and may be within next 1-2 months we can hope for CRS and commissioning of this section then the trains coming and going to ET and JBP will travel in this section without any problem and speed can also be increased

Wakav to Kurduwadi - track laid, construction of another platform at Madha & Wadshinge is in progress. Will be ready within 6 months.
Kurduwadi to Jeur - Leveling work completed, sleepers laying work is in progress between Dhavlas & Kem. Will take another 9 months to complete entire work.
Jeur to Bhigwan - Not much progress. It will be last section of...

Doubling between Tilati - Akkalkot Road - Nagansur - Boroti is nearly completed and will be commissioned within 2 months. It is part of Solapur Gulbarga doubling.
Also Wakav - Madha - Wadshinge doubling work is 75% completed. It is part of Solapur Pune doubling work.

Safety inspector successfully took trial of double line between Mohol and Wakav yesterday.
Trail engine run at a speed of 90 Kmph successfully.
Goods traffic is expected to start on March 1, 2017.
