Useful data. There are stations like Nuagaoan, Bondamunda ,Rengali where there are hardly any passengers who have boarded/deboarded in one month. Should they not re-look at the stoppage at these stations?
For 45 trips if we consider atleast 10 boarding per halt then they are atleast 35 stops below 450 count of the total 80 stoppages which have to be reviewed. They can reduce 20 halts for this train.

That is why extensions are such a sham and so detrimental to the original station in the first place. BKSC is allocated PQWL in 13351 that was it's own train once.
RNC Division has cut off BKSC from several of it's train inspite of the fact that both lie in SER, because the divisional changeover is there. MURI lies in RNC Division and leaps the benefits of GNWL there.
Similarly ASN is now facing the RLWL axe on several trains originating from KOAA side.

Air Connectivity prospects are also adversely affected due to weak political representation of Dhanbad.
Quota distribution depends upon the will of the zone and division. For instance, there is only GNWL quota on 18619/20 Intercity Express. RNC - MURI(incl) is under SER/RNC division, MURI(excl) - CRP(excl) is under SER/ADRA division, CRP(incl) - PKA(incl) is under ECR/DHN division, PKA(excl) - DUMK(incl) is under ER/ASN division, and DUMK(excl) - GODA is under ER/MLDT division.
SER can well accomodate BKSC under GNWL quota for SER/RNC and SER/CKP division originating trains.

Point taken, but such allowances won't be made for comparatively long distance trains like Delhi and North India bound trains.

What you've said is correct i think. Made an RTI for this and got some shocking results...
KCVL has free slots (pit line number 4). But it will create impact in occupation & loading of pitlines at KCVL due to which no new or special trains can be operated from there.

Retain Waltair division in SCOR and form a new Tirupati division also in SCOR.
Along with this, KLBG to GTL should be transferred to SC division till KLBG division is formed in SCR. This request/ suggestion is due to the fact that new SCOR can concentrate in AP areas instead of dealing with Raichur Yadgir Kalaburagi districts of Karnataka. If done, it will be win win for Karnataka and Andhra

should start SCOR zone operations immediately with available infrastructure. it is already delayed.
As per latest news, Nitish is insisting on Railways mainly for ministerial position, looks like Biharis again going to lead the IR, apart from Kotla (MOS of Railways around 2 years) anyone else represented Railway ministry from Telugu states?
I think Bandaru Dattatreya is the MOS of rlys in Vapayee ministry in 1999-2004 period. Please cross check.

vgirik69 39 blog postsI have seen notification from ECoR Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24. Good move. I feel 12727/28 also be down graded to normal express as for last 2 years Godavari lost its punctuality both SC side and VSKP side. Unnecessarily, SCR is charging SF for past passenger.

If gets delayed than 12801 has to arrive first even though late by 1 hour.
They are many such trains Gowthami,Janmabhoomi come in line which are always late in both sides. Lot of other overnights of SCR have 56kmph.
You are highly mistaken if you think that Purushottam had a bigger priority than Poorva. Nowadays it has become fashionable to bash anything regarding WB, but don't forget Poorva still connects two Metro cities...

Don't have such stereotype views that I am disgracing anything regarding WB. It is simply not related with that. WB is having 2 durontos and Rajdhani trains for NDLS. +3 daily trains for CSMT. Direct trains for BSB,HW and what not. I am from Tata, and i want quality trains for BSB, SC, MAS. And that one quality train,(12801) is going to be snatched soon from our hands.
koi degradation bhi nahi ho raha. avg speed aur destination same hi rahega probably bas 65 se niche avg speed wali trains ko M/E kar denge jaisa lag raha hai.. agar ye hua to pax point of view se achha hi hai fare kam ho jayega.
