premium trains and other mail/express trains passing through Dhanbad, including the New Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express and New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express. The base kitchen will be operated by RK Associates & Hoteliers Private Limited, which also manages base kitchens in other stations in Jharkhand. The facility has separate sections for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food preparation, as well as a dedicated section for parathas. The kitchen is air-conditioned and equipped with chimneys and hygiene facilities. The establishment of base kitchens is part of the Indian Railways' plan to eliminate pantry cars from trains, aiming to improve the quality and hygiene of food served to passengers. The base kitchen in Dhanbad will initially serve 12302 Howrah Rajdhani Express and 12314 Sealdah Rajdhani Express. Plans are in place to extend services to other trains like 13151 Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express, 12019-12020 Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah Shatabdi Express, 22317 Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express, 12260 Bikaner-Sealdah Duronto Express, 12379 Sealdah-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, and 12329 Sealdah-Anand Vihar West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express.

Railways ki plan hai ki trains mein pantry cars band kar diye jaaye, isliye stations pe base kitchens banaaye ja rahe hain. kind of train I'd wish LTT Prayagraj Duronto, Shatabdi Trains of Delhi, Vande Bharat Trains could be. Reminded me of the joy I felt when I first traveled in ICF 3A of 12417 Prayagraj Express decades ago
After a Loooong time finally felt like traveling in a Premium Train that too in 2A. I'd definitely go for end to end 1A travel whenever I get time.
Granted Bikaner clearly doesn't deserve this Phenomenal Stuff especially occupancy wise, major boarding from Ratangarh only that too for mostly New Delhi. But Railfanning wise this route is amazing. I could finally open my Tablet after crossing Rewari, before that route is filled with views of Desert.
Good Slack given for crossing with Counterpart and with Prayagraj Bikaner Express.
I took an extra night of Hotel Stay in Bikaner in order to travel in this train next day. The experience was totally worth it.
Enjoyed both Lower Berth for Some time and Side Lower when I got bored 🫡😂

Saw it but didn't go. I'm the only one who'd consume the stuff from there in my Family and I had back to back trips till 16th May.
After reaching from Duronto at Delhi id have to go to Pune within 4 hours with midnight flight, reaching back to Delhi on 13th Morning only to depart for Bhilwara on 13th Afternoon reaching 14th Midnight only to depart Bhilwara on 15th 3AM for Jaipur and then depart Jaipur 8AM on 16th by Vande Bharat to Delhi.
Saaans lene ka time nahin tha 🫡🥲😂...

Reached Bikaner on 8th May 2024 from Sri Ganganagar by Delhi Sarai Rohilla Bikaner Express via Sri Ganganagar.
Beautiful Route if someone's looking for a Day Journey through Desert in AC Coaches. The weather outside was unbearable

6 people travelling till Suratgarh in my Coach.
The only people traveling till Bikaner were the ones who boarded from Sri Ganganagar.
If it's slack and timings are reduced it can reach Bikaner early at 11 AM atleast giving people of this route option of continuing their Journey with Bikaner Sealdah Duronto Express (increasing occupancy in these sections). This route is heavily used by Defence Personnel.
