The Shatabdi Express got delayed 'cause a coach had some issue in Ghaziabad. People were getting all bugged 'cause the train was running late by about two hours from New Delhi to Kanpur. So they just switched the coach in Ghaziabad to avoid any mess. But hey, overall, long distance and special trains are the ones getting the most heat. Travelers are not happy 'cause they're missing work and their folks are stuck in waiting mode. Some folks even returned their tickets on Monday. More than 288 trains pass by the Central station daily. Because more people are on holiday, it's affecting the train operations too. Due to some issue with one coach, the Kanpur Central Shatabdi Express was late by an hour and 40 minutes on Monday. It left Ghaziabad at 4:22 and reached its destination at 6:14. Changing the coach on time saved a potential disaster. Even trains going towards Bengal experienced a bit of an impact. Trains like Siyaldaah Superfast Express, Lichchavi Express, Ahmedabad Sabarmati Express, Kushinagar Superfast Express, Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Express, Avadh Express, New Delhi-Kolkata Special, and Delhi Special Fare Express arrived at the Central station from two to eleven hours late.
