Being a vizagite pls explain me how can a train enter the pfs when the train leaves from PF 1. Day before yesterday I went to rly stn to pickup from Janmabhoomi at 1940. The ernakulam Patna express left at 1940 and janmabhoomi came in at 2000. When the train leaves from pf1 it cuts across all the lines which are incoming to other 7 pf. I think u are aware of it. I have explained him the same. As its dinner time the slot trains being long distance are put in pf1 which is being followed from many years. While pf 8 s reserved for GR pf 5 for korba exp at 2000. In the gap of that 30mins they need to allow BZA vskp passenger which is always late which goes to NSP/MTM and also rayagada Bza passenger. So literally there is no time left for letting 2035 arrival...

i can explain, when a train leaving PF1 and take opposite (wrong ) track then train from MAS side can enter into PF. Also if train passed outer then by the time it enters into PF , PF1 train can leave. I have seen it many times. Its all depends on controllers that time.
Also there is no need of allowing passing trains via PF1, its complete mismanagement. PF8 gets almost same facilities as PF1. Originating and destination trains can use PF1,2. Later they can be pulled upto Jnanapuram side and then they can be shunted towards coaching complex when train leave from PF5 or 6. Its very easy to maintain trains at VSKP which is having 8 PF. 3rd line from 3-4 km will make wonder. Its is as Railways has land to add another 6 parallel tracks at VSKP.
Its all mismanagement by ECoR making a station like VSKP became a bottle neck for many. Until diversion started things happened fine. Later when some trains diverted back, this all issue started of mismanagement.
They just want to prove VSKP is over crowded and trains has to divert. Their main target is VSKP bound trains only, so that people think that diversion is better. Many people tweeting the same with railway ministry. Any ways lets see how many months still it will continue.

From TVC side, workers have GHY express. But from Mangalore side, there is no train and Mangalore - Chennai mail act as perfect link. When train reached Kannur, many workers boarded my compartment, and i was the only person in my bay who was not among the workers. By the way, they didnt create any issue and gave my seat and berth when asked for. They were courteous. But problem is that(in my bay), they had 7 confirmed seat and 10 people traveling in it. 3 was having waiting list. In adjacent bay, 5 confirmed seat and 10 people in it. By the time train reached Calicut, situation turned pathetic, for moment it was like i was traveling in General compartment. But again, i would say it was bad journey, in other bay, they were singing and talking in loud in midnight and early morning. From Malabar side, one HWH/GHY train is must, which can run behind Mail or ahead of mail
