All of Palakkad,especially those used to trains in this route are eagerly awaiting the regular running of trains on this route. Hope it increases the overall connectivity of Palakkad with the rest of the country, by way of re-routing of some of the existing trains and introduction of new trains.

I think Coimbatore Rameswaram express and Coimbatore-Tuticorin/tirunelveli express should be routed through which can save time and load on CBE-ED sector. It will also help Palakkad people to travel to South in a faster way
