It took 69 years since independence, for IR to provide basic need to locopilots..
It took 69 years since independence, for IR to think about running trains at moderate 160-180 KMPH..
It took 69 years for IR to finally wake up for the much needed improvements and other necessary needs..

One thing I still can't understand is ..what is the use of Toilets in Locos if they can be accessible only if the speed of train is zero ?

Imagine a LP piloting a Rajdhani express say Mumbai Rajdhani between NDLS and Kota or Say HWH Rajdhani between NDLS and CNB.....

wants to go to loo then he will have to either stop the train to use the loo or wait till CNB/Kota arrival to use loo...Now first case isn't permissible by IR .... So its as good as LP alighting at CNB /Kota and then taking loo
