Tamilnadu needs another ZONAL Headquarter s in TRICHY ,SOUTH COASTAL RAILWAY ( SCoR ) with the existing Madurai and Trichy Division and a new Tirunelveli Division .This new SCoR in TRICHY may have enough route length over the VIZAG Headquartered proposed zone in Andhra..
Mumbai Metro has WR and CR. ie two zonal HQs .Similarly CHENNAI may be SR HQs with most of the train services to the North,North West ,North East and Western States.The proposed new TRICHY Headquartered SCoR Zone may well served for the Coastal Tamilnadu,Central , Southern Tamilnadu and PUDUCHERRY UT and operates daily Express trains to all over India.
No need of any additional zones. Mumbai has much denser railway network and MH is very big than TN. WR has Gujarat lines more . SR is enough, no need for any new zone in TN.
