To address this, the Railways are considering swapping the rakes (coaches) of these two trains, putting the 16-coach rake of the Durg-Visakhapatnam train on the Bilaspur-Nagpur route and vice versa. This would increase the seating capacity on the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat, making it easier for passengers to get confirmed tickets. Additionally, the Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat with its reduced 8-coach rake is expected to see an occupancy rate over 50%. The rakes swap is expected to benefit the Railways by mitigating their losses. Furthermore, the Railways are considering adjusting the timetables of these trains. The Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat currently arrives in Raipur at 6:13 AM, followed by the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat at 8:01 AM. The Railways are exploring the possibility of having the Durg-Visakhapatnam train arrive in Raipur 5 minutes after the Bilaspur-Nagpur train. This would potentially allow passengers from Bilaspur to access the Vande Bharat train service for Visakhapatnam, while also increasing the occupancy of the Durg-Visakhapatnam train.

Ab railway Chhattisgarh ke Durg-Visakhapatnam ki train ke 16 coaches ko Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat train ke 8 coaches ke saath badal dene ka soch raha hai. Isse Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat train ke passengers ko fayda hoga. Train mein bahut baithne ki jagah hone se passengers ko confirm ticket mil payegi. Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat mein bhi 8 coaches hone se 50% se zyada occupancy ho jaayegi. Isse railway ko bhi fayda hoga, unke nuksan ki bharpaai ho jaayegi. रायपुर. छत्तीसगढ़ में दो वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस का परिचालन हो रहा है. बिलासपुर-नागपुर वंदे भारत लगभग हाउस फुल चल रही है. इस ट्रेन का परिचालन मात्र 8 कोच के साथ किया जा रहा है. ऐसे में बर्थ की संख्या भी कम है. हालात यह है कि ट्रेन की एक्यूपेसी 117 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच जाती है. मतलब कई दिन तो ट्रेन में वेटिंग लिस्ट चलती है. दूसरी तरफ दुर्ग विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत ट्रेन का परिचालन 16 कोच के साथ किया जा रहा है. इस ट्रेन में सफर करने के लिए यात्री नहीं मिल रहे है. लगभग पूरी ट्रेन खाली रहती है.

जा रहा है कि 83 प्रतिशत बर्थ खाली जा रही है. ऐसे में रेलवे को भारी नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. रेलवे अब छत्तीसगढ़ दुर्ग-विशाखापट्‌नम में 16 कोच, 83 प्रतिशत बर्थ रहती है खाली प्रतिशत एक्यूपेंसी की इन दोनों बंदे भारत टेन के रैकों की बदला-बदली करने पर विचार कर रहा है. मतलब दुर्ग-विशाखापट्नम ट्रेन के 16 रैक को बिलासपुर-नागपुर वंदे भारत ट्रेन के 8 रैंक के साथ बदला जाएगा. इसका सीधा लाभ बिलासपुर-नागपुर बंदे भारत ट्रेन के यात्रियों को मिलेगा.

ट्रेन में पर्याप्त बर्थ होने से यात्रियों को कंफर्म टिकट मिलेगी. दूसरी दुर्ग- विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत को 8 रैंक के साथ चलाने पर एक्यूपेसी 50 प्रतिशत से अधिक हो जाएगी. मतलब ट्रेन की 50 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा बर्थ में यात्री नजर आएंगे. रैकों के एक्सचेंज का फायदा रेलवे को भी है. रैंकों की अदला-बदला से रेलवे को अपने नुकसान की भरपाई करने में मद्द मिलेगी.

ट्रेनों का बदल सकता है टाइम-टेबल

दुर्ग-विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत ट्रेन की लगभग खाली चल रही है. ऐसे में रेलवे दूसरे विकल्प पर भी विचार कर रही है. दुर्ग-विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत ट्रेन सुबह 6.13 बजे रायपुर पहुंची है. इसके करीब 2 घंटे बाद बिलासपुर-नागपुर बंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन सुबह 8.01 बजे रायपुर रेलवे स्टेशन पहुंचती है. रेलवे इन दोनों ट्रेनों के टाइम टेबल में परिवर्तन करना चाहती है. मतलब बिलासपुर-नागपुर वंदे भारत ट्रेन के रायपुर पहुंचे के 5 मिनट बाद दुर्ग-विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत ट्रेन रायपुर पहुंचे. इससे बिलासपुर के यात्रियों को विशाखापट्नम तक के लिए वंदे भारत ट्रेन की सुविधा मिलेगी. दूसरी तरफ दुर्ग-विशाखापट्नम वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस लगभग हाउस फुल चलने लगेगी.

I don't think such useless and dumb news articles should be shared on IRI. Everybody knows BSP NGP was a white elephant and improved with the occupancy all because of the replacement of rakes. It seems near to impossible that it'll again be given a 16 coach rake.
Regarding Durg VSKP, the rake should either be swapped with a 8 coacher (YPR SC etc.) or the VB should be entirely scrapped.
It's high time IR is running such empty VBs and doing nothing to improve upon their services.

kam hai. Railway Diwali festival tak dekh rahi hai ki passengers badhenge ya nahi. Agar aise hi empty seats rahi to Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express ki tarah, isme coaches bhi kam kar diye jayenge. Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express ka first class AC seat ka fare INR 2100 hai, jabki Samata Express mein third class AC seat ka fare INR 905 hai. Bro, I think North Indian cities are more intricately connected to the northern cities and same with southern Indian cities( where people travel not only for jobs but also to their families and other purposes.)
This can also be seen as more direct no of flights From North to North and South to South rather than North to South (except metro cities where people from all parts of India resides in big no due to jobs and other opportunities). baar nahi hai jab Vande Bharat Express ko nishana banaya gaya. Pehle 28 September ko bhi Khariar Road ke paas yeh incident hua tha. Is baar ki ghatna ne railway administration ki suraksha vyavastha pe sawaal uthaye hain. Railway officials ka kehna hai ki woh passengers ki suraksha ke liye serious hain aur aise cases ki jaanch ki jaa rahi hai. Railway administration ne passengers se appeal ki hai ki agar woh koi abnormal activity dekhein to jaldi se Railway Protection Force ko inform karen.
