It's about 3 km from the station. There's an auto service available. We were with our own ride, so not sure about auto fares, but it should be less than Rs.50. The Grand Thakar in Rajkot is the spot for the most famous thali, but you gotta wait ‘til your number's up. Grab a token, chill in the hall (or outside if it's packed), and they'll hook you up with a seat. The token numbers are displayed on an LED screen, visible from outside too. While you wait, they'll bring you some refreshing lime juice. Waiters keep coming around with trays of glasses. Once your number pops up, head into the main dining area. They've got Kathiawadi goodies, sizzlers, Punjabi, Gujarati, and a heap of dosa varieties. The paneer dishes are bomb! Don't sleep on the street food either—Khaman-Dhokla, chili pakora, methi pakora, veg patties, Poha, jalebi, and phafda, all delicious. And if you're up late, you can snag some fresh and hot Jalebis at 11:00 pm.

Tu GoGoChe ke Potato wafers toh try karna hi padega, sath mein hari chutney ke saath. Poora desh me kahin nahi milega, sirf Rajkot me. Badiya!

Main wahan gaya tha 2014 mein, Sach mein ek mast jagah hai visit karne ke liye.
