is there any chance than when the special train is converted to the regular one, the number of stops could be increased?

Seems like all trains of budget 2012 have already started as specials !!!!
Yes, Railways had already done feasablity test by introducing them as specials prior making them regular...
happens every time-most of specials that introduce in past few years become regularize in budget
For that matter the making of Golgumbaz from tri-weekly to daily, theres already a train till Bijapur eixting for past 2 years running as special in the same slot-the only thing was it was terminating at Bijapur and will now run till Solapur-same thing with Mysore-shiridi Express which is running as special for past 1 year-even Puri-SBC garib rath ran as a white elephant special with poor patronage

Another one is Valsad-Jodhpur Special, which is also announced in this budget..
seems Valsad being gradually developed as new terminal as an alternate to BCT/BDTS/DDR............

Very long route.
Best route will be via---JSG-ROU-CKP-SINI-KND-PRR-ASN-CRJ-MDP-JSME-JAJ-KIUL-MKA-BKP.

But it will connect Rourkela to Gomoh/Koderma/Gaya . At present there is no train on this route. Tatanagar still has 2 trains for Patna.

Yes nagpur could have been better option.Still gondia lacks connectivity to patna.

nitishkumar~ 19480 blog postsIf this train starts from Nagpur @ 12.30 pm then it will be faster than 17005 to reach madhupur.in 20 hour it will reach madhupur.
And if it uses CKP-SINI_KND_PRR_ASN route then it can reach madhupur in 18 hour 4 hour fasrter than 17005.Also journey time between TATA-Asansol can be reduces it can be covered in 3 hr 20 min.
i think it should skip tata and use ckp-knd-prr route, loco reversal at tata will also be avoided and time saved. but yet the timings are better than south bihar at least.
