Now HWH Chennai left with only 6 SL.per day (not counting weeklies) down from 24 SL per day from 1728 berths to 480 berths GS earlier 3 to 2 coaches. IR and RB hasn't learned anything from the accident in June in which max casualties are in GS and SL 7 coaches in which some have collaped due to sudden shock in their seats. The reason why people are traveling in standing for 24+ hrs itself shows that couldn't afford 3AC and all are SL or GS travellers. In SL atleast 40 extra travel making 200 and GS 200 in each coach total SL 200+GS 200 - 400 per train and 800 for two daily trains which is equal to 10 SL coaches in the sector.

Going by the extra unreserved travellers in both mail and coromondal HWH Chennai , Benguluru, Hyd need daily Vande Sadaran trains as 2 daily trains run to Hyd and Benguluru daily. There will be no point in introducing AB with single rake once or twice in a week in any route for publicity purpose the condition in 3AC and SL will be the same overcrowding.

Coromondal exp started with diesel engine I'n 1977. Chennai Howrah mail is running in 1937 itself as said by the father who studied in history book of my grand father.

Great ,there was one more train from hwh to Chennai , named as Janta express
Now discontinued. Had opportunity to travel in that train long ago ( 1973 perhaps) in First class
Bsb to hwh in 6 up Punjab mail ,HWH to mas in janta express.Mail my dad could not get berth.

Howrah Chennai Jonathan express destination changed to Tirupati when coromondal express is introduced and diverted via Bhinavaram when Guage conversion completed in late 1970s. After HWH yesvantpur express frequency increased to daily its now Tirupati Puri. The number and timings are almost same from the past 60 years 79/80.

Another thing I forgot to add is about increasing the frequency all these AC trains and Humsafar(BJP's own pet project) are Weekly and bi weekly since the beginning. There are path constrains and no slots only for existing trains but path and slots are available for vande bharat and nishikant dubey's trains from JSME

Even if they increase the frequency of already existing AC Exp and Humsafar Exp that alone would be 100 times better than this destructive rake standardization

All indian cannot afford to travel in AC
In kolkata all night distance buses aren't AC
Some are AC some are non AC
Same in Bhubaneswar Ranchi
