It feels bad to see Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani still waiting for Tejas rake allotment. Mumbai and AK rajdhani and even Patna rajdhani has been given Tejas rakes. Clear cut politics is the reason for ignoring Hwh and Sdah Raj.

I was thinking yesterday night, there is no space to construct a new Bridge between DAKE & BLYG. Swami Vivekananda Bridge/Willingdon Bridge/Bally Bridge is still going strong at 95 yrs old. At 2029, the bridge will turn 100 yrs & will be outliving its capacity period as per Indian Railways rule. Construction of this Bridge was started in 1925 & was thrown open for rail & road on 1929.
