The train gets really really cold. Never say no to the 25 Rs bedding and blankets that are offered. Worth the money

Extremely clean coaches. Toilets are maintained impeccably. Liquid soap is available in all toilets. Housekeeping is done. After breakfast they personally come and collect the waste. One of the best trains in cleanliness. Though toilets don't have toilet sprinkler Owing to old manufactured GR coaches it's fine.

Never opt for bedding in this train.. Try the bedding while travelling..
Coz U will be issued one bed sheet, 1Blanket and 1 pillow without pillow cover if u opt for bedding while booking.. and u get 2 Bed sheets, blanket and 1 pillow with proper cover if u pay onboard...

Side middle berth between kcvl-ypr is somehow manageable since its just an overnite journey. But the SMB is really a horrible experience if it is the KCVL-LTT (Kurla) Garib Rath express.

With so much complaints about bedding, catering, cleaning,
a time will come, Railways will have to offer Wooden berths with AC , where you bring your own bedding, water, food, and porter will be supplied FREE ...
