Sir, this train runs to its full capacity , check out this week's availability if you want. That explains how important is this train for CBE, Nilagiri and Cheran are not enough to cater the population who are travelling to MAS daily. Another direct over-night was asked but SR rejected it to various obvious reasons. So please understand Cheran cannot be extended.

thats what i am saying allepey express also runs full throughout the year but it is diverted and they given a quota to coimbatore,,,likewise they can extend cheran to ers and they can give some quota to ers people,,

First of all if we extend to Kerala what guarantee do we have that CBE will be in GNWL. SBC intercity was extended to ERS , CBE lost General quota. If the name Cheran is the prob for u then nethravathi should be terminated at MAQ . Regarding allepey and tvc mail , cbe had quota right from the inception of both trains , later it was diverted via bye pass due to some politics , now the restoration has made Coimbatore to get its quota back.
