Sir,
As per the directions of the railway board, it has been forbidden to introduce to introduce any more trains between Mughalsarai and New Delhi, to reduce the congestion, between the above two stations.
We...
more... the citizens of Dhanbad, had been lobbying for a direct train to Delhi, so you can understand that our hopes have been dashed.
Sir, there are a few trains from Kolkata to Delhi, which ply through Dhanbad. However since Dhanbad is in Jharkhand, it is alloted Remote location quota. Sir, you can understand that the seats alloted by this scheme is a meagre few.
Further complicating the fact is that Dhanbad's location. The lines from Ranchi and Bhubaneswar join the grand chord at Gomoh Jn. It means that people at Dhanbad, can't avail this service.
Sir though Gomoh is A grade station, it is not easily accesible. It lies in a relatively remote area. Gomoh is a relatively small town and the transport to Gmo is sub-par at best!
Sir, it is my earnest request therefore that the trains from Ranchi to Delhi, not to be bypassing Dhanbad, but rather pass through Dhanbad through the Chandrapura-Dhanbad section. Sir if a train originates from Ranchi, then hopefully people of Dhanbad can book through General quota, and hence obtain a fair share of seats.
Sir, the Shatabdi express and Dhn-Bbs pass daily through this track, it can be used to ferry over those train from Ranchi as well. It cannot be a question of Dhanbad's ability as it is the largest railway station in Jharkhand. The trains can easily get their rake reversed at Dhanbad and set off for Delhi.
It probably adds an extra 50 kms to the train's journey plan, but imagine the relief it would bring to the people of Dhanbad.
Sir, therefore without wasting any more of your precious time, the trains that can be bought under this plan:-
1 Jharkhand Sampark Kranti
2 Hatia-Ltt weekly
3 Ranchi-New Delhi Garib Rath
And if possible the Rnc-rajdhani via Bokaro as well
Thanking you for your time Sir:-
Arnab Kumar Sen
