When will be Lohardaga tori line will be started, it will save our travel distance between Ranchi and Delhi by 2-3 hours joureny. Also save our valuable time and national resoures. Railway officials should take care to complete the project as early as possible.

I saw a news clipping where the Hatia DRM was mentioning that the line will be commissioned from March 2016. Unfortunately, the electrification work will complete in next 1.5 Years so it wont be beneficial for most Delhi bound trains. Wonder why Railways chose to delay the electrification work. They could have electrified upto LAD easily and then the rest of the 40 Km link would have been easy.

Difference between existing and new lines is 80 kms so no ways train would save a 2-3 hours journey.
Max 1-1.15 hours. I guess still via BKSC will stay the fastest.

Currently the Rajdhani via Daltonganj takes exactly 3Hrs and 30 mins to cover the distance of 197.8 Kms between Ranchi and Tori (Due to speed restrictions in the section)
Via the new LAD - TORI line, the distance will be reduced exactly by 100 Kms, making it a total distance of 97 Kms. Since most of the terrain of this section is far less complicated than the Muri route, hence Rajdhani / Any express train will easily be able to cover that distance in Max 1Hr 30 Mins with a time saving of about 2 Hrs.

Distance between Ranchi and New Delhi via LAD-TORI will be 1237 Kms (70Kms less than the BKSC Route)

No it is not half. The dpr is of 113 kms same in news. Curves are less but the mps is same
as rnc muri 65 kmph. Pls see the railway lines on Google map. Lohrdaga tori is curved.
113 km at 60 would be 2 hours approx .same as ranchi ramgarh cant via muri.

This will be covered in 1 Hr 45 Mins even @ 65 KMPH Speed (That includes stoppage at LAD).. The current distance of 197.5 Km is covered in 3 Hrs 30 Mins, so minimum 1 Hr 35 Mins will be saved. Once it is electrified, it will be covered in less than 1Hrs and 20 mins.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
