Right Now Electrification is required only in areas where it is most important
Uttar Pradesh, because most routes have single line and are also not electrified,but since UP have elections in 2017 and Central Government have awarded lots of Contracts for doubling and electrification.This is a good sign because of single lines trains in UP get late upto 6 -7 hours.
Doubling and Electrification in almost most of the dense and important routes in UP will get over by 2020.
