Yes, thanks to previous rail ministries, who had been ignoring such an important section for over 50 yrs !! They never realised the potential of Malwa and the inner Punjab, their mind was only set at ASR-NDLS route, as it was profitable for them, not realising that RBR is giving them a lot, in terms of food grains, coal etc. When we visited Dhuri, it really cleared my doubt as to why this Jn still holds a D category tag, cuz nothing was ever done here, Patiala is far better and hold great footfall or number of passengers and hold A class station tag, even being a regular station with only 11 trains.
