Trains are changing their route to avoid reversing the engine at BSB/NR. The Railway Board has given the thumbs up to this change in route to make things easier at the BSB yard. Currently, these trains come from the DDU/JEP side and go towards BCY side, but this involves reversing the engine at BSB yard. All these trains run on electricity and need the driver's cabin to be changed every time, which takes about 30-35 minutes for each shift. This longer time spent on the platform causes delays for other trains at BSB.

Trains ka route badal diya jayega BSB/NR mein engine reversal band karne ke liye. Railway Board ne niche diye gaye trains ke route mein badlav ko manzoor kiya hai taki engine reversal aur BSB yard ki rush kam ho sake. Abhi toh, trains DDU/JEP taraf se aati hai aur BCY taraf jaati hai aur vice-versa, jisme engine reversal BSB yard mein hota hai. Sabhi trains ko bijli se chalaya jata hai aur har baar cab change karna padta hai; har shunt mein lagbhag 30-35 minute lagte hai. PF par zaada samay tak rukne se dusri trains ko BSB mein detention ka samna karna padta hai.
