Now ir is making it a passenger shatabdi..
Although people still board from phagwara and beas.
I think making halt at rajpura is bad decision..its hardly 30 min from ambala.

As i always demanded too a Shatabdi to Rajpura,as catching Shan-E-Punjab was difficult for me as coming by Bangalore Rajdhani thn catching SHAN E Punjab was risky so Swarna Shatabdi would now be a best option and even the evening Shatabdi should do the same
then give a halt at panipat coz of the history..battle of panipat.imp city..
and kuruksherta due to the Mahabharat history..

we often use this shatabdi to go and come from UMB . bt ambala doesnt have that much of quota i guess.. thats y people opt for klk shatabdi... if u want to reach before 10 am then this is the best option..
For those who are demanding Swarna Shatabdi stoppage at Panipat,Kurukshetra and Karnal, move to Kalka Shatabdi or Chandigarh Shatabdi. This train is already running jampacked connecting major towns of Punjab. Check the avaialbility of 12029 and 12013, a long waitlist is displayed even before 2 weeks of journey. I must say this is the most successful shatabdi on this route and hence no room for more stoppages. even i feel for defence personnals, they can board other shatabdis from Ambala and hence ambala stoppage should be removed for swarna shatabdi.
Talking about New Delhi-ludhiana-Moga shatabdi, this could also have been successful if it was run on UMB-PNP route only.. It takes longer route and time than exisiting shatabdi and hence degradring its...
