RFIR~ 6841 blog postsTravelling in sleeper coaches of this train is increasingly becoming inconvenient in this train. So many migrant labourers all having proper paper waitlisted tickets boarding from kerala, tn, ap. Can sympathise with them also. the railways cud do well to restriciting issuing the number of wl tickets. It sometimes becomes a real test if you need to go to the washroom or wash hands. So many wl passengers sleep near to the door.

I generally travel in 12863/12864 which is always horrible with general ticket holders. Even TTE instead of restricting them checks only reserved tickets and escapes from the coach. I went to the TTE and asked about this. He is really worried about his problems saying that they got used to it and he is praying that his next duty should not come in this train...:-(
Well from MAS the menace of MST holders is very high during the evenings in trains like 12685, 16041, 12601...etc. These people travel upto KPD and cause much of inconvenience to the reserved pax. The major affected being people with Sl berth.
IR should introduce general coaches instead of sleeper. They are just looting people's money.
If IR is really thinking of 'economising' and 'efficiently using the available resources viz. coaches, track money... there are many ways to do it. One of them is:
1-Introduce Rail Car having multiple classes. It will carry passengers of Departure to Further stations where Other Rail Car will be waiting with onward passengers and will be attached... And thus will move the whole fleet of Rail cars in one thread.
IR is not reviewing or releasing the data of 'seat utilisation' or 'coach occupancy' in each train...

I recently read about Chinese Rail travel. Regarding coaches, they have unique system...
Every coach is having multiple classes. And it ranges from Hard seats to cushioned, open seats to cabins.
And they have clean compartment, with light electricity and toilets and most of toilets are Squatting type, and western style also there.
