Had booked a ticket from Hyd to Bangalore and the ticket remained in WL when the chart was prepared. Does the new refund rules also cover etickets? Like if I have not cancelled my WL tickets after chart preparation, I will not receive any refund automatically ?

When I tried to cancel the tickets a day later, usually we receive message saying "Already cancelled". Now, I get chart prepared alone as a message. A day later, this PNR started showing up under "Refund status of cancelled tickets". But once you click the PNR, I can't find any refund status, refund amount etc at all. Is that normal?

Can't one change the boarding station of a tatkal e-ticket? When approached, the request was rejected saying it can't be done for a tatkal ticket. Please clarify

Chart PREPARED
I had travelled from VPT - SBC on 1st January 2012. There was an AC failure throughout my journey time and the TTE agreed to refund the difference amount between SL and 3AC, and gave me a receipt for the same. Being an e-ticket, I filed for TDR on 2nd of January,2012 and now the status shows "TDR Status: CCM Registered". Any idea how much does it take? Anything apart this, am I supposed to do? Any info would be of great help. Thanks. Prasad

I did send the original certificate to IRCTC, New Delhi through SpeedPost
Thanks for the info. Have sent an email. But when trying to call them, they never pick the phone. I had been trying to do this from yesterday.
