Well! If berths are full what will you do anyways entering the coach? Even in a circular journey ticket, if berths are not vacant then traveling in an AC coach is entirely at the discretion of the TTE!

Hi!
Visit the reservation superintendent or the chief reservation officer of your city's railway station and then follow the required steps as told by him!

Yes! chances of confirmation are low as it's the Christmas holiday season and trains are full. Please keep a back-up plan ready by booking a bus ticket and please do hurry in doing so too, because in this holiday rush even the bus tickets might get exhausted1

Depends on whether your ticket is an i-ticket or an e-ticket. If it is an i-ticket, then yes you can travel subjected to TTE's approval.
However, if you have an E-ticket, then if the ticket does not get confirmed till the chart preparation, then your ticket would automatically get canceled and the amount credited back into your banking/credit card account. Also note that if you and your friend have booked a single ticket with both of you as passengers in E-ticketing, then if your friend's status is wait listed, you too can travel and your ticket wouldn't get canceled. Hope this info helps!

Also note that if you and your friend have booked a single ticket with both of you as passengers in E-ticketing, then if your friend's status is CONFIRMED, you too can travel and your ticket wouldn't get canceled. Hope this info helps! Sorry about the error earlier!

If it's for sleeper class for 26th dec, chances are quite low for conformation unless extra coaches are added!

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries.
