i'm sure u have not gotten my point....please observe the ETA's and ETD's in that chart.... for example, see the ETD at Anakapalli and ETA at Tuni!

the ETD at Anakapalli is 10:50 sir, and it arrives at the next station at 10:02!!

sir, in no way i am commenting about the new added feature, which is excellent. i was just pointing out the poor management in the grassroots of indian railways.

Sumangal+Vinjamuri 43 blog postsI have a query : if a train is running heavily late, then is there an option for the railway officials/train driver to halt the train at a station for a lesser time than as scheduled so as to make up for the running late?

well sir, i was not suggesting to implement this, but i was just asking whether there is permission to do so.
This doubt arose because i travelled yesterday by 08041-HWH-MAS Special from BBS to VSKP. the train reached BBS, late by 2.5 hrs. The scheduled waiting time at BBS is 10 minutes. But, the train waited there only for around 3-4 minutes. Also, at VSKP, the scheduled waiting time is 45 minutes. But, the train waited only for 30 minutes there. What about this then?

Train Live Status:
This feature has now been enhanced to show the entire running status timetable on Google Maps for actual Departure Dates. The "Departure buttons" are available for valid departure dates, for which live running status can be ascertained. For example, a daily train that completes its journey in 2 days will have two valid departure dates - today and yesterday. A weekly train departing on Mondays, which completes its journey in 2 days will not have any departure button, since the train would already have arrived at its destination yesterday, and there are no more departures till next Monday.
