Attaching today's running status as well, reached Ghorpuri at 11:35 pm despite leaving Solapur almost 40 minutes late. Similarly, today it waited for almost 45 minutes at Hotgi Jn (Before Solapur) after early arrival there, and then had a 30 minutes halt at SUR!
It can be speededup by 1.5 hrs between Wadi and Pune. Many trains in CR are speeded up only in one direction as they need to change the timings in many zones and works of 130kmph is over they are waiting for clearance from operating departments.
Still now significant number of trains have time table pertaining to the operation in single line, which should accomodate crossings as well, even after the line getting entirely doubled and there is no need for that.

It should be extended upto Madurai only and decrease the waiting time at HWH by changing to morning arrival and with 2 rakes they can run triweekly. Even occupancy will be from Madurai only and 150 Rkm is waste expenditure for 2 sides. These type of extentions and expenditure need to be reduced in IR.
