Major route km is in SR. SR should run the train on time and the train is given lot of runtime. The gap is 3hrs and if the train is late by 2hr then it's SR fault.

SR has the habit of riding on shoulders of SWR. Still after 20 years also, they think it is SBC MYS division job to run from Bangalore to Cape, Mayiladuthurai, Karaikal, Kannur, etc. They are not running any train to inside Karnataka. Plus delay is attributed to SWR. What is this 😳 Let SWR run it's train to CAPE and take it back via MDU SA HSRA daily. This will give another faster train from south TN to Bangalore
TVC Division using CAPE and NCJ as dump yard of unwanted extensions, similarly PGT Division MAQ as dump yard. CAPE and NCJ has to be with MDU, also MAQ has to be with Mysuru division so that it can cater the needs of the respective place passengers.
This RSA needs to be checked again.
The 17235/6 SMVB NCJ Exp would be a better match for both Island Exp and SWR.
It would also free up Seshadri's unused train cars for other routes like a new daily route between SMVB and VSKP or more trips for 17211/2.
MS-CAPE should run with 2 separate train sets if SR doesn't want to join back with Pearl City.
Kanyakumari express is running with 3 rakes with addition of one more rake and taking SMVT Nagercoil into RSA they can LHB fly as well as Shift PM to SMVT as morning Pitline of Sangamitra is free. Sheshadri will be free of RSA and can return from at 1300 with slight change in timings. SCR can LhB Sheshadri express as ot requires 2 rakes.
